The Toubkal massif (occidental High Atlas) offers to hikers venturing onto its numerous mule paths a surprising mixture of still wild moutains, with steep slopes and high bare tops, and lanscapes shaped by men for centuries : terraced cultivated lands and mud-and-clay villages admirably integrated into sites.
There, you will be able to climb, without any particular difficulty, a summit higher than 4000 m, the Toubkal (4167 m), from which you will dominate whole Northern Africa !
But you will also have the opportunity to go and meet the Berber inhabitants of this massif, to discover their way of life and traditions, and to appreciate the incomparable quality of their welcoming.
